History Timeline:
• 1885 - New rink first called, "Clark's Grand Enterprise" and opened by Clark Evens. ^[6]
Besides skating, the building was also used as a cycling velodrome; a drill hall for the Leal school; a boxing and wrestling ring; a dance hall; a miniature golf course; a convention hall & much more!
• 1926 - Opened as a Roller Rink after over 25 yrs. ^[2]
• 1944 - Major fire. ^[1]
• 1945 - New rink opens ^[4]
• 1964 - Demolished to make way for the Plainfield Police Headquarters and Municipal Court. ^[6]
