• 1930 Fred Bergin earned a living working in various orchestras.
• 1935's He decided to buy into a roller skating rink in Cleveland.
• Next he began purchasing rinks around Ohio and Massachusetts.
• 1948 He came to Pueblo. He became the manager of Skateland, located on Abriendo Avenue.
• Teamed up with Dr. Lloyd Shaw, to make square dancing records & made numerous recordings of traditional music, interpreted by Bergin's organ, on the Lloyd Shaw record label.
• Later, Bergin would go on to form Rinx Records,
• 1954 Rinx Records partner, W.B. McMillan died & he left Colorado and moved back to Michigan.
• 1958 Shaw of the Lloyd Shaw record label died.
• 1968 Bergin sold Rinx Records.
• 1980 Bergin retired at the age of of 76.
• 1987 Fred Bergin passed away.
• 1991 Inducted in the USA Roller Sports Coaches Hall of Fame.
